About the store

Experience

I have been teaching for 17 years. I have experience in Kindergarten and first grade ESE inclusion as well as working with gifted and talented students in grades 3-5. I am also a former MTSS Coach.

Teaching style

I prefer integrating creative arts and technology into daily lessons. I challenge my students to think for themselves and encourage personal bests in them.

Awards & shining teacher moments

I was chosen as my school's Rookie Teacher of the Year for the 2011-2012 school year and Teacher of the Year 2015-2016.

My own education history

I am a product of the education system in the county I teach. I graduated with honors from the University of Central Florida with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I also have a master's degree in Special Education from Grand Canyon University. I am certified in grades K-6 and ESE K-12. I am ESOL, reading, and gifted endorsed.
