I began my teaching career at the end of 2014 after completing my university studies. Since then, I have gained valuable experience across a range of year levels, with a particular focus on teaching Year 3 and 4 students. Throughout my career, I have developed a strong understanding of the academic, social, and emotional needs of students in these middle primary years, and I am passionate about creating engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environments that help every student thrive.

Teaching style
My teaching style is grounded in being well-organised, approachable, and balanced. I aim to create a structured yet flexible classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to learn. I foster positive relationships and establish clear routines, while encouraging student voice, creativity, and independence. I incorporate technology purposefully into my teaching to enhance engagement and support a variety of learning needs. Whether it is using digital tools for collaboration, interactive learning platforms, or multimodal presentations. This balanced approach helps students build confidence, critical thinking skills, and a love of learning.
