Teaching style

My teaching style is centered around engagement, movement, and meeting students exactly where they are. I believe learning happens best when students are actively involved, which is why my classroom is full of hands-on activities and purposeful movement. I love working in small groups to provide targeted support and truly understand how my students think, allowing me to create resources that address real learning needs. I am especially passionate about intervention and helping students build confidence while closing learning gaps. Every resource I create is designed with this in mind—clear, student-friendly, and effective for a range of learners. Whether you're working with whole groups or small groups, my goal is to provide materials that make your teaching easier and your students more successful.

My own education history

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education (BSE) and my Master of Science in Educational Theory and Practice (MSE). Through my education and classroom experience, I have developed a strong foundation in instructional strategies, student learning, and curriculum development. I am certified to teach in Tennessee in grades K–5 and also hold a 6–8 Math endorsement. My background in both elementary education and middle school mathematics allows me to create resources that support a wide range of learners and ability levels, with a strong focus on building foundational skills and student confidence.
