About the store
Thank you for visiting my store! Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to teach in wonderful schools and bring curriculum to life for my students. The adventure of teaching continues to inspire me, and I’m passionate about creating resources that help educators and families support children with clarity, confidence, and compassion. I began my teaching journey in 2004 in Pasadena, California, and over the past two decades I’ve had the privilege of working with students across grade levels and subjects — from elementary classrooms to Algebra, Earth Science, and even Robotics. No matter what I taught, one truth remained constant: when students feel confident and supported, they can do incredible things. Today, I teach 4th grade in Colorado, where I focus on helping students become confident, capable readers. I specialize in structured literacy and the Science of Reading, supporting children in building strong morphology skills, vocabulary, and comprehension through clear, explicit instruction and meaningful reading experiences. I believe skill development and a love of reading are not competing goals — they grow together. I hold a Master’s degree in Education, a Multiple Subject Credential, and secondary credentials in English Language Arts, Math and Science. Teaching style

My teaching is grounded in the belief that every child can become a confident reader with the right support, instruction, and encouragement. I combine evidence-based literacy practices with a warm, relationship-centered approach that honors each learner’s strengths while addressing their needs. I focus on clarity, consistency, and confidence-building so students feel safe taking risks, persisting through challenges, and recognizing their own growth. Whether working with struggling readers, supporting students with dyslexia, or guiding teachers and families, my goal is the same: to make learning accessible, purposeful, and empowering.
