I help K-2 teachers by creating quality learning activities to support students in developing strong foundational skills and a love of learning, as well as kind hearts and resilient minds.
WHO IS MRS LEARNING BEE?
I'm a former teacher and Assistant Principal from Sydney, Australia. After 10+ years of teaching and leadership, I left the classroom in 2021 to focus on supporting teachers full-time. My teaching passions include synthetic phonics, writing, play-based learning activities, classroom management, kindness and social-emotional learning.

These Kindergarten subtraction templates can be used to introduce early subtraction skills in the early years classroom! It is a fun way to demonstrate the concept of taking away. The kids roll playdoh balls and add to the 10 or 20 frames. They then pull out a numeral card, or roll a dice (you may like to use a 10 or 20 sided dice).
