This product will help your students learn to differentiate between facts and opinions while learning some fun facts about desert animals. You can use these materials in several ways. First, you can create file folder activities for each set of cards. Kit includes file tabs, file folder cover, statement cards with facts/ opinions, a chart for the inside of the folder, and an answer key. There is also a group game idea that you can use with your students.

This is a theme-based product. It contains a group activity, theme practice sheets, and a quiz. There is an activity to help students identify the theme and not a theme. I included an anchor chart and a version to go into an interactive notebook to support learners. It also includes a quiz with 2 part questions to have students identify evidence to support the theme.
