I have a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. This is my 7th year in special education. I am passionate about teaching children with disabilities. My journey in special education has been incredibly rewarding, allowing me to support diverse learners in reaching their full potential. I believe in creating simple yet effective resources that engage my students and enhance their learning experience. My goal is to make education accessible and enjoyable for all, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

My teaching style is inclusive, student-centered, and focused on functional communication. As a special education teacher, I am dedicated to ensuring that all students, regardless of ability, have the tools and support they need to thrive. I believe that with the right accommodations and strategies, every student can be successful. I prioritize building independence by teaching practical skills that empower students with disabilities to navigate their daily lives confidently. Functional communication is at the heart of my instruction, ensuring that students can effectively express their wants, needs, and ideas. Through structured support, hands-on learning, and an encouraging environment, I help my students develop the confidence and skills they need to reach their full potential. My classroom is a place where every student is valued, capable, and set up for success.
