A fun game for 2-3 players to reinforce addition with regrouping based around written problems. Children take turns to pick up a card with a written word problem on and write down the sum and answer. Children move forward on the game board to reach the treasure if they get the sum correct. All answers are provided to allow children to self-check. Each set (1-5) has a different theme.

Three fantastic activities relating to addition with regrouping. The first activity is 'Guess What Spider?' Children read the question about spiders and solve the sums to reveal the answer. A fun counting game that can be played in pairs. Each child takes turns to add the numbers on the ice-cream scoop together to find the total. The child needs to match this total to the corresponding cone with the answer on. The winner is the child who collects the most ice-creams. A great activity to help children find combinations of 10.
