About the store
I'm a K–8 certified Arizona educator with classroom and district-level experience. I student taught across kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade before teaching 3rd grade in Arizona. From there I moved to my district office as an EdTech coach, supporting K–8 teachers across every subject in integrating technology into their instruction. I now work in higher education, but my husband is still in the classroom teaching middle school history, and through him I see every day how hard it remains for teachers to find resources that truly align to their state standards. That's what inspired this shop.

About the store

Experience

I'm a K–8 certified Arizona educator with classroom and district-level experience. I student taught across kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade before teaching 3rd grade in Arizona. From there I moved to my district office as an EdTech coach, supporting K–8 teachers across every subject in integrating technology into their instruction. I now work in higher education, but my husband is still in the classroom teaching middle school history, and through him I see every day how hard it remains for teachers to find resources that truly align to their state standards. That's what inspired this shop.

Teaching style

My teaching is collaborative, technology-enabled, and grounded in high-yield instructional strategies. I'm a big believer in using tech to fill gaps and differentiate for every learner, and I lean heavily on visual learning and gamification. One of my favorite classroom traditions was a movie-theater-themed multiplication chart: as students mastered each set of facts, they "went to the movies," earned popcorn, and unlocked the next level. Every product in my shop reflects that approach: no-prep, AZ-standards-aligned, with Bloom's/DOK tagging and built-in differentiation so any teacher can pick it up and use it.

Awards & shining teacher moments

One of the highlights of my teaching career was leading professional development, first at my school site and then across my entire district, helping fellow teachers integrate technology, high-yield strategies, and differentiation into their classrooms. Watching teachers light up over new approaches (and getting to learn from veterans showing me new approaches) is still one of my favorite parts of being in education.
