Here's a fun way to help your students build a sentence. This can be printed out and used as is or glued into a journal/notebook. Students create a picture in each puzzle piece and label them. Create a sentence using the puzzle pieces.

One thing we strive to teach out students is how to be a kind, caring friend. Here is a super sweet and easy way to tell your students how much you appreciate it when you see them being a friend, with a fun sticky note. You can leave one on their desk/table area, stick it in their homework folder or stick it to their shirt on their way out the door for the day. Print, laminate and cut out cards. Student have to find the matches by finding the correct number bonds and place them on the mat. You can use this in small group as a reteach or as an assessment. This can also be an early finisher activity that students can work on independently or with a buddy.
