About the store
I taught Kindergarten for 4 years, right after I graduated college. It was the most perfect start to my career and I loved every second of it-although learning to teach Kindergarten online was a whole other level of education for them and I! I then moved to Fifth Grade when I moved to the city my fiance was living in. While a big switch, I have loved every second of Fifth Grade, too. I have been in Fifth Grade the last 4 years and have learned so much each year. I figured out a couple of things that work for me and wanted to share them since I have benefitted from so many creative teachers in my career so far!
I started making resources that are self checking last year-perfect for when you're teaching small groups and kiddos are working at their seats, or really, a variety of other times! This way allows them to check any computation errors or their own work independently.

End of Year 5th Grade Math Jeopardy Game!
The end of the year is an exciting time to celebrate and practice all that students have learned! This game can be played in teams to go over skills practiced all year long in 5th grade. It is a Jeopardy style game with different questions at different levels of difficulty. It practices fractions, decimals, order of operations, geometry, and multi digit multiplication and division.

Self-Checking Multi-Digit Multiplication Pixel Art
This is an independent self checking activity that students can use to enhance their multiplication skills! Every time they get the answer, they fill in the blank box. If they get it correct, a piece of the picture will appear! If not, they can try again. This is great an an assignment, center, or digital homework.

Self-Checking Dividing with Decimals
This is a self checking independent activity practicing dividing with decimals! Students put in the answer in the box and if they get it correct, a portion of the picture will appear. If they do not get it correct, nothing will appear. They can rework their answer and input it again.

My own education history
I live in beautiful Montana and attended college here, although I am originally from California! I am so lucky to have two places I absolutely love living in and being surrounded by wonderful people. I was in a class with the same 35 kids from K-8th grade, an experience I'll cherish forever. I then attended the local high school, where both of my parents are teachers! They helped instill a love of teaching in me from a very young age. I then attended college in Montana, where obtained my teaching degree and have never looked back!
