It's a tree map, it's a flow map...it's a FLEE map! Start with your topic sentence and break down your answer with a flow map before your wrap it up with a conclusion sentence. It's a great graphic organizer for beginning paragraph writers. Diagonal lines are to be used for transition words/phrases, boxes for big ideas, and line beneath for additional detail. Start with just taking notes and expand to sentences.
