This Microsoft Word document contains an overview page and all handouts/worksheets my March Madness Statistics Unit. It uses some data from the 2013 men's basketball season, but can be altered for future seasons. Each lesson is specifically tied to each round of the NCAA Men's Basketball tournament. This is the final lesson in my NCAA March Madness Statistics Unit. I use as an assessment for the unit. Students will be expected to find mean and standard deviation from a data set, create a 5-number summary and box and whiskers plot, and create a frequency table and histogram. The page numbers referenced in the overview page come from McDougal Littell's 2001 Algebra I textbook.
