I created these fill in the blank monthly calendars for my children to fill in each month. Students can practice writing their numbers neatly while developing calendar awareness. You may choose to have the students fill in all of the numbers at the beginning of each month or you may have them add the number of the date each day. We also draw a shape on holidays and birthdays that we plan to celebrate each month. Additional idea: Use these calendars to plan your menu for the month.

Provide this printable form to students as a reading log. Students can do a quick review of each book that they read. Print on regular paper size 8.5 x 11. There is room for 3 reviews per page. I would recommend having students keep them in a three ring binder. I have my children keep several copies of this printable form in a 3 ring binder. When they finish reading a book, they do a quick book review. My children enjoy looking through each other's binder to see how their peers have revi

This form was created and kept in a notebook by the behavior chart. There was one sheet per child. Student's filled in the form after receiving one warning. This served as a log of student's unacceptable behavior. It was very helpful to have available for parent conferences.

I created this form to use with ABeka Academy Lessons. When the lesson for each day is completed, in the COMPLETE column, I write the date it was completed. For me this is just one of the ways that I keep records for our home school. It could be used with other curriculums too, but I created it specifically for use with Abeka Academy lesson days.
I used this for students to sign up to take an AR test. They managed themselves by going in the order that they signed up. When they completed an AR test they placed a checkmark in the box by their name.

I posted this version of the form on my website. I deleted the names so that my student names were not posted online. However, when I sent this form home with the students, I edited this copy under "Due Dates" section. I listed the days of the week and had the name of each student by a day. Caregivers and students had to sign this form. By dividing up the due dates, this helped me manage reading and evaluating their reading response journals. If I had 25 students then five students were du

You can use this letter to send home when it is time for you to have a PEP meeting with a child's caregiver. In NC when children score a Level 1 or 2 on End of Grade test a PEP is written. During the school year, I had to meet with the caregivers of the students that scored a Level 1 or 2 on EOG during previous school year. I used this form to inform parents that we needed to schedule a meeting to discuss child's PEP. You can use this form and just fill in with your contact info. or edit as
Each time a student finishes reading a book, have him or her complete a copy of this literature response form and add it to a bulletin board. Encourage students to read their classmates' suggestions before starting a new book.
Print on an index card size 4 in. x 6 in. After students read a book they would get one of these cards from a place you designate in your classroom. Students would use these cards to complete a quick book review. You might keep these cards in a recipe box organized alphabetically so that other students in your class could refer to them when deciding if they want to read a book. Secondly, you might have students complete a card after you finish reading a book aloud to the class. You coul
