These mats were created especially for a 100th Day celebration! Students sort fruit loop cereal by color on the first mat. Students then transfer the fruit loops onto the second mat*, counting to 100, but in color-coded groups of 10. The fruit loops can then be strung onto a necklace** to wear and display their knowledge of 100 and counting by tens! Print the mats on cardstock and laminate to ensure durability. This product features nine blue number cards (1-9) and nine green spatial pattern cards (1-9). Students can practice matching the number cards to their spatial pattern counterparts. Print these on cardstock, cut them out, and laminate them in order to use as a center or instructional tool for years to come! This simple sheet combined with dice makes a fun 100th Day game! Students take turns rolling dice and then coloring in the number of boxes that they roll. Whoever gets to 100 first, wins! (When students get close to 100, I like to use the rule that they must roll the exact number necessary to make 100 - this makes for a challenging ending!) Use as a center on the 100th day, or however you would prefer!
