Math Self-Assessment

This self-assessment helps the students assess themselves how comfortable they feel with the different parts that go into solving a math problem and showing their answer. It is very helpful to print one for each student and keep them in their math folders in a clear sheet protector. This way, they can reuse them over and over and the students can rate themselves using a dry erase marker.

This number line can be paired up with any classroom theme, as it is super neutral! It starts at 0 and goes up to 100 and is very easy on the eyes so that it is not over-stimulating for any of your students.

This game is great to keep students engaged while having fun. It is a partner game and can be differentiated based on the students levels. Print 2 pages per 2 students, laminate and mix them up. That deck of cards will be split between 2 students. Each student will draw 2 cards and add them up. The student who has the higher sum will keep the cards. The game is over when one student has all of the cards. *This can be differentiated by students playing by drawing 3 cards and adding them up OR

This math game should be played with the yellow/red counter. Fill up a cup with whatever number you are trying to focus on. As the kids spill out the cup, they record how many red counters there are and how many yellow there are. Then, they will count how many counters there are total. This game can be used for adding numbers 0-10. You pair the students up with a partner and each of them say, "1, 2, 3 add" and hold out a certain number of fingers. They will record how many one partner held out in the first box and the other partners number in the second. Then, they will count the total fingers that were displayed and that is their answer. As the children are learning to add higher numbers, each partner can use two hands. I created 3 different math addition games that are sold
