This is the format and explanation for a Confirmation Saint Report with question ideas for an interview with the candidate's sponsor. A rubric is also included.
This template with instructions (outline), will guide the Confirmation Candidate to write the letter to the Pastor or Bishop. I spend one class period going over it and if time remains students begin their rough draft. After I correct them, candidates word process the final copy.
The outline will inform students what their newscast will consist of. The rubric is for assessment. I also include a self and group evaluation on loose leaf paper.
This is an alternative to the "usual" book report. The teacher lets the student choose options for a book report. I do points based on the complexity of the book and the ability level of the student. I have used this type of book report for years with my 6-8 grade students. They love having a choice and knowing I am not expecting too much or on the other spectrum I am challenging them. I have received my ideas from students and colleagues and of course from my own ideas. The format you see
I use this every couple of weeks or so to make sure the students are keeping up with their individual readings. This makes it easy to differentiate as well.

This is a sheet to be used while students watch a movie. It preludes the Movie Assessment sheet I have. I use them together. When they take the assessment I allow them to use this sheet.
