About the store
This is my 22nd year of teaching at the same elementary I actually attended as a child! I met my very best friend of over 30 years there as well and can't imagine teaching anywhere else. I have taught various grades with kindergarten and 6th being my favorites. Gifted kids are a close third as they always challenged me to be a better teacher. I have always loved kids and have known from my earliest memories that I wanted to be a teacher!

Letter Bracelets: Plain

Always free for the first 20 downloads. Yea!!! These bracelets are perfect for teachers who do a letter of the week or a letter of the day. These bracelets are very plain and give students the opportunity to color the letter of the day/week. You can put them on in the morning and use it as a "secret password" throughout the day (which students love). They can't exit to recess until they look at their bracelet and tell you the letter etc. Or...you can put them on at the end of the day w

Experience

This is my 22nd year of teaching at the same elementary I actually attended as a child! I met my very best friend of over 30 years there as well and can't imagine teaching anywhere else. I have taught various grades with kindergarten and 6th being my favorites. Gifted kids are a close third as they always challenged me to be a better teacher. Teaching style

Kids are capable of more than we know! I hold high expectations and feel kids learn by doing. I make learning meaningful through the passion and dedication I devote to my students. Love and logic has always been the kind of style used in my classroom. I believe in choice with structure and routine!

My own education history

Although I never enjoyed the academic side of school growing up, sports led me to college where I played basketball and soccer. I now hold a Master's degree and hope to further my education when I have a little more time on my hands! ;-)
