I started my career as a year-long, long term substitute in 3rd grade. I later found my home teaching second grade, where I would remain for several years. Teaching style
I'm a true believer in hands-on learning. I feel that math is not strictly a rote process to be taught and memorized. Rather, it is something to explore, manipulate, and discover. In other words, bring on the math tools, games, and activities!

If it weren't for my own teachers, I never would have had the courage to enter the world of Mathematics.
