Great for relating addition to subtraction. Can be used for any grade K-4.
(1)Write the two numbers to be added in the lower two boxes.
(2) Write the sum in the top box.
(3) Use these three numbers to write four true math sentences in the lower panel.
Tip: Print fact house on colored paper and laminate.
These 4 worksheets will help relate addition to subtraction as well as allows the use of a number line.
The 2 sets (1-10 & 1-15) have a large 8 1/2x11 sheet and a page with 4 houses for student use.
Print on cardstock and laminate.
Each day, students find and place the correct number in the ones, tens, and hundreds place to make the number of days of school.
You could use sticky tack or have velcro to attach.
*Please note: for eleven-nineteen, the words are in red and a combo of green and red.
My students have Wake Up Work each morning. For the month of December, they will create an addition sentence where the sum is the day.
December 3 ____ + ____ = 3
December 12 ____ + ____ = 12
They will fill in a question for weekend days as well as work ahead for days during the holidays.
