This is and interactive way for students to explore the rules for adding integers. The first slide they categorize the sums but positive vs negative. The second slide has the students build the addition rules. Lastly the third slide students practice identifying if the answer will be positive or negative. You can always have students actually do the math if you want.

This google slide enables students to interact with the slide to drag and drop and to connect matching vocabulary. The 1st slide is directions, the 2nd is a drag and drop and the third is drawing lines to connect vocabulary. You can change the order of the slides if you'd like. Answer key included.
