I substituted for 3 years while I was earning my teaching credential. This was a great learning opportunity and it allowed me to teach grades TK-6. Once I obtained my credential I taught TK, K/1 Combo, and am currently teaching 3rd Grade. I LOVE my job!

Backpack Reminder - Snack Reminder (English / Spanish)
Backpack reminders are a great way to better communicate with parents!
I have sent a lot of ‘reminder’ notes home. Mistake number one- they go into the student’s backpack. Backpacks make things magically disappear.
Backpack reminders are a paper chain that you print (or copy) onto bright colored paper.
Then place this paper on the students’ backpack like a chain.
Parents see this paper and are immediately informed.
