Pre-assessment (formative) Students use a visual to begin to understand equivalent fractions. Three versions are included, one with fraction bar lines, one with the fraction lines and a sentence starter, and one without either.

You can use this with your toddler to help them practice identifying numbers, but also different items that can help with their vocabulary.

Equivalent Fractions Exit Ticket with a Social Emotional Learning component. Students are asked to write in words what equivalent fractions are and show a visual example. Then, they are asked if they have any questions about equivalent fractions and how confident they feel about them.

Post-assessment (formative) Students compare fractions using greater than, less than and equal to symbols.
