Hi! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Mrs. Rubio, a first grade teacher, Certified Reading Specialist, and creator of Mrs. Rubio's Resources. I have a Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy and a passion for making learning fun, meaningful, and memorable for primary learners.
In my classroom, I love creating hands-on activities, themed learning experiences, and room transformations that keep students engaged while building strong literacy and math skills. My goal is to provide resources that are easy for teachers to implement and exciting for students to experience.

You can utilize just about any reading or math resource with this gamebaord to turn it into a fun game instead of a worksheet or task card! Partners take turns rolling the dice and move that number of spaces AFTER they have answered an academic question of your choosing.

My own education history
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University and later completed my Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy. I am also a Certified Reading Specialist.
