Hi! I'm so glad you're here! I'm Mrs. Rubio, a first grade teacher, Certified Reading Specialist, and creator of Mrs. Rubio's Resources. I have a Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy and a passion for making learning fun, meaningful, and memorable for primary learners.
In my classroom, I love creating hands-on activities, themed learning experiences, and room transformations that keep students engaged while building strong literacy and math skills. My goal is to provide resources that are easy for teachers to implement and exciting for students to experience.

Polar Express Hot Chocolate Order Form
This has been a game changer for me on Polar Express Day! Students simply check the box next to the toppings they want and leave the form on their desk. I'm able to make sure everyone's order is correct without having to ask and re-ask for students to raise their hands. I hope you and your class enjoy this as much as I do!

My own education history
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Oklahoma State University and later completed my Master's Degree in Reading and Literacy. I am also a Certified Reading Specialist.
