I am a currently a 2nd grade teacher after teaching 1st grade teacher.for 5 years I absolutely love seeing those lightbulbs go on. My emphasis is phonics, reading, and listening strategies. It's amazing how much growth happens with these little guys in such a short time. They deserve the world and a chance to start building their future....super hero style.

In my classroom I like to create an atmosphere of safety. I want my students to want to want to come to their classroom everyday and feel like they can be themselves. The classroom is a place where we try our best and mistakes are okay. Where kindness is felt my everyone. Where learning is desired and achieved. My classroom is full of super students saving themselves by saving those around them.
