I have been teaching 2nd grade for 16 years. In my classroom, I implement highly effective phonics and reading lessons and a variety of abstract and concrete math lessons. I have 30 total years of classroom teaching experience. I continue to seek ways to grow and learn as a teacher. I completed LETRS training in May 2023 and the Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Dyslexia training in March 2024.

I have taught HUNDREDS of students and have begun to see children in my classroom whose parents I had many years ago. Humbling and awesome!!
