Emoji Punch Card
I felt a need to create a punch card that has a small number of days (10). My grade level team does Walk to Read and I wanted a tool for management of my group of students. We rotate students so often that it needed to be short and easy to get your reward.

Teaching style
One of my biggest beliefs as a teacher is that teachers need to do all they can to make their students want to be at school. I have a fun, warm, and inviting classroom. I try to plan activities and lessons that my students get excited about and want to participate in.

In my first year of teaching I was nominated by a parent for teacher of the year for our school district.
My own education history
I grew up in Washington state and attended all of my K-12 school years there. I moved to Idaho for college and graduated from BYU-Idaho in 2012 in elementary education. I lived and taught in Utah for 4 years. Now I moved home to Washington and am teaching here.
Additional biographical information
I just celebrated my one year wedding anniversary. My husband Steven and I live in a nice little neighborhood with a gorgeous view of the Olympic mountains! I love baking and decorating sugar cookies, reading books, doing yoga and hiking.
