This is a project that is designed to help students understand how much it would cost parents to prepare for a baby if they did not have a baby shower. This assignment can be completed in person or digitally. If you would like for students to complete this in person you can have them make a foldable that showcases all the information or if you would like to have them complete it digitally they can complete it in google slides with photos or google sheets if you do not want them to add photos. This resource is a fun and great way to supplement your teaching on table settings and etiquette. Students are tasked with drawing a formal table setting and incorporate a theme. My students loved this project and it took them about a 5-7 50 minute class periods. I provided stencils, paper, and markers or colored pencils for students to use. This is an activity designed to help students understand the schedule of immunizations children receive from 0-18 years of age. There is controversy surrounding this topic so this activity will teach students the reasoning behind each one, what can happen if children do not receive them, and the contraindications surrounding each immunization. When discussing adolescent/teenage years and teen dating violence, you can use this movie guide to supplement your teaching. The movie "No One Would Tell" is based on a true story of teen dating violence and is a great example of what a toxic relationship looks like. I used this in my Human Growth & Development class when we discuss the development of adolescents. This pamphlet can be used to help students learn more about child abuse. I use this pamphlet after we have gone over notes about child abuse and students design the pamphlets to educate others about child abuse. If you are getting your future educators ready to start teaching, this is a great resource for a mini teach lesson. I do this in my Principles of Education & Training class. This is usually their first time teaching in front of a class so it is a quick and easy way to introduce them to teaching. This resource includes an instruction sheet, an example, and a blank sheet that can be used for student to write out their activity. I have my students read the book first and then complete their book
