5 Student Approved TED Talks for the Elementary and High School Classroom
TED Talks have been satiating the adult's brain for learning for over 20 years. I agree that a talk on quantum physics may not hold the attention of your grade 6 class, but if you find the right one, a 9 year old can get hooked. Here are 5 student approved TED talks that I've used in my own classrooms with students from grade 4 - grade 8. Topics include MAGIC, MUSIC, and MATH, along with ART and ANIMALS. Whether you're a grade 4, grade 8, or grade 12 teacher, these 5 will work.

I’ve had the opportunity to write for and be featured in over 20 magazines, newspapers, and other publications across Canada, the US, and even Australia. One of the "shining teacher moments" has been securing grants for the schools I've taught at. I’m grateful to have helped bring in over $30k in grant funding, which has supported various initiatives and projects.
