8 Ideas for Math using 8 Types of Technology -- Gr. 4-8
This is a handout from the WIRED for Success Tech Conference from Nov, 2014. I presented 3 workshops and this is the handout from one of them. Included are 8 creative ideas to teach Math that all involved using technology at the point of learning and instruction. The appropriate content is for grades 4-6. Some carry over is appropriate for grade 7-8, but all of the types of technology are engaging for K-12.

I’ve had the opportunity to write for and be featured in over 20 magazines, newspapers, and other publications across Canada, the US, and even Australia. One of the "shining teacher moments" has been securing grants for the schools I've taught at. I’m grateful to have helped bring in over $30k in grant funding, which has supported various initiatives and projects.
