Grab the minerals and rocks tarsia puzzle and throw on a little music to increase the engagement/fun. All you need to do is print out 1 per pair, cut these out, shuffle them, and have your students practice their minerals and rocks vocabulary while putting this together. This activity helps students understand analyzing graphs, waves of an earthquake, and anatomy of an earthquake. Students are tasked with taking the seismograms from 3 different cities and figured out where the earthquake originated.
