Students first select an app to redesign and improve, then create their own. Depending on the level of detail/thoroughness you desire, this could be one or two days. I find it is a perfect "canned" emergency sub plan to have in a file, on the ready.

Teaching style

I do my best to give simple explanations to complex topics that students can relate to in a real way. I incorporate technology, cooperative learning, music, humor and obscure pop culture references into my classroom every day.
