The language is introduced through word study to then gradually scaffolded into text comprehension and understanding beyond the literal level.

The template is for a spelling test. Students copy the words displayed in front of them on the board into the template. You can print the template on both sides of the page to create a spelling booklet for a weekly spelling test. It also offers opportunity for students to choose certain vocabulary they are interested in learning. You can edit the template by deleting or adding rows to increase or decrease the number of words.
