About the store

Experience

I started out teaching Kindergarten at a daycare center. From there I transitioned to teaching 3rd grade in Anne Arundel county, Maryland. I have just finished teaching 6th grade in Hawaii for the past 5 years.

Teaching style

I love activities that get the kids out of their seats or interacting with the materials in some way. I try to get as much technology and "audience participation" going in the classroom. The more the kids think things through for themselves, the happier I am!

My own education history

I received a BA in Dramatic Arts from St. Mary's College of Southern Maryland and a MAT in Elementary Education from Towson University.
