I am an elementary educator as well as a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing. I have taught in public and private school settings in grades Pre-K through 5th in the classroom, in both general education and special education settings. I have provided push-in and pull-out specialized instruction and consultation for grades 7-12 as a deaf educator.

This is a great activity with circle time or extra practice for ELL/special educations students with the concept of more and less. Each slide has 2 groups of penguins to count. There is a question at the bottom, "Which one has more?" or "Which one has less?" Students click on the circle and the answer appears. Most slides are 0-10. A few are from 10-20. There are 17 slides including the title slide.

Experience

I am an elementary educator as well as a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing. I have taught in public and private school settings in grades Pre-K through 5th in the classroom, in both general education and special education settings. I have provided push-in and pull-out specialized instruction and consultation for grades 7-12 as a deaf educator.

Teaching style

I believe children learn best when engaged in the learning process. I am also a firm believer in technology, as this often motivates students to learn more.

My own education history

I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Grand Canyon University and my master's degree in deaf/hard of hearing special education from Lewis and Clark College.
