About the store

Experience

I am an elementary educator as well as a teacher of the deaf/hard of hearing. I have taught in public and private school settings in grades Pre-K through 5th in the classroom, in both general education and special education settings. I have provided push-in and pull-out specialized instruction and consultation for grades 7-12 as a deaf educator.

Teaching style

I believe children learn best when engaged in the learning process. I am also a firm believer in technology, as this often motivates students to learn more.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Co-Presented at the Alexander Graham Bell Association's Convention in 2003.

My own education history

I received my bachelor's degree in elementary education from Grand Canyon University and my master's degree in deaf/hard of hearing special education from Lewis and Clark College.
