If You Give a Christmas Mouse Ten Cookies
Students are working with the all important benchmark number 10. Students pull a card and put that many chocolate chip cookies onto their cookie tray. Then they fill up the remaining slots with Christmas cookies. Students then record their addition sentence into the accompanying book. Students will be able to find all the combinations of ten. Great for math tubs or stations.

Christmas Cookie Swap Add Ten
In this game students add ten to a single digit number. Then students compare their totals, and the student with the highest total wins all the cards for that round. This game is played like War, or Compare. There is also a recording sheet so students can write down their number sentences.
