Ms. Baker's Theater Classroom

Hello, and welcome to my TpT store! I hope you find my resources helpful, insightful, and engaging. My name is Quinn Baker, and I hold my BFA in Theater Arts Education & Communication. My teaching certification covers speech, drama, debate, communications, and English language (ELA). I am certified in my state to teach all of these subjects. I currently teach 6th-12th grade theater arts, theater production & design, and speech courses. My days are split between our high school and middle school in a growing district! As theater/drama is new to our schools, I have the honor of leading as many students to the performing arts as possible. I am truly passionate about what I do, and I believe that the arts hold incredible power for our students. Even outside of a theater classroom, incorporating the arts into any curriculum can prove more than beneficial, as it increases art appreciation, improves public speaking and collaborative skills, increases confidence, enhances organizational and leadership skills, instills empathy, and much, much more. Additionally, students involved in the arts have the opportunity to develop and practice vital life skills such as reading, writing, public speaking, effective communication, time management, and team collaboration. The goal of this store is to provide educators like you with quality resources that benefit students, while also making your life a little bit easier.
