We are told again and again how important relationships are for teaching. An easy way to start with a new class or school is to give out an interest inventory. Using google forms streamlines this process. When all students complete the inventory you can simply export to google sheets. This gives you an easy access document of likes and dislikes to relate to students as well as basic information that helps keep your classroom run smoothly.

Students self identify their behaviour level based on Hellison's TPSR (teaching personal and social responsibility), explain why they were behaving that way, and provide a consequence to their actions.
