This is a weekly spelling vocabulary and root word packet. There is space for 10 spelling vocabulary words and 3 root words. Students can use the packet to learn vocabulary explicitly and practice root words. Students write "strong" sentences -- using vocabulary words in ways to show they understand the meaning, not just simply inserting into a random sentence. This could be used as a weekly spelling supplement, novel study guide, nonfiction study guide, etc..
