Experience

Hello! I am Stephanie and I have been teaching special education since 2010! Currently I teach a hybrid K-4 Intensive Special Needs Classroom. Students spend time in their general education classroom and my classroom.

Teaching style

Student-Centered: I place the student at the center of the learning process. I engage students in their own learning by considering their individual needs, interests, and learning styles. I foster a learning environment where students have opportunities to explore, inquire, and take ownership of their education.

My own education history

I attended Rivier College in Nashua, New Hampshire. I was enrolled as a duel major in K-5 general education and K- age 21 special education. After graduation I attended Southern New Hampshire University and received my masters in Special Education.
