I have 10 years of experience in a classroom as an early childhood educator in both private schools and public schools. For about a total of 6 years, I have been homeschooling my 6 children as well as teaching classes at homeschool cooperatives. I am also a certified behavior therapist for children with Autism.

Spelling Task Checklist
Students can practice their spelling words independently with this checklist. Laminate this list and fill a bin with the spelling list, dry erase marker, and all other supplies needed. When the student finishes all the tasks she can submit it to the teacher and the teacher can test the student.

This is a great resource to track progress in a simple format and all in one place. "Regardless of what state you live in, HSLDA recommends that you keep detailed records of your homeschool program. These records may be helpful if you face an investigation regarding your homeschooling or your student needs to furnish proof of education." (Expert from hslda.org) I use this for first grade. Use this with the Weekly Progress Report Rubric.
