Teaching style

A mix of discovery based opportunities with connections made to prior knowledge and real world applications. All new knowledge starts somewhere, some connection or extension being made from a past learning experience. Starting here is where new knowledge can be formed. Building Thinking Classrooms is a perfect platform for this style.

Additional biographical information

I was born and raised in Sandy Hook, CT. After spending 36 years in Connecticut I decided to move to Florida. This was a major change not only personally but professionally! Outside of the classroom I love my two dogs and cat, my fur babies and I love to go on adventures checking out so much of what Florida has to offer. Billiard halls, country dance studios, the beach, and my kitchen are a few of the places I consider my happy place. Baking for others brings me so much joy!
