This is a class activity great for review. It is structured as a relay race. Each group will get a pile of questions and will need to solve one problem at a time and "run" their answer up to the teacher to see if it is correct. If they are correct, they get to move on to the next problem. If not, they need to try again! This helps students review with one another before a test on polynomials.

This is for an Algebra 1 class and is great for reviewing concepts. This scavenger hunt includes writing equations in slope-intercept form when given two points or a graph, as well as writing equations in point-slope form given a point and a slope, then converting to slope-intercept form. In this card sort, each function is already next to its matching increasing, decreasing, positive, and negative cards. It is recommended that the instructor cuts the cards out in advance. There are a total of 9 different functions matching to an increasing/decreasing card and a positive/negative card. This is a great review activity for Algebra 1 students when learning about function characteristics!
