This a pacing guide with suggested activity topics for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. I find that while activties and resources for this play are abundant, it can be difficult as a new teacher to plan the length of the unit unless everything is neatly laid out by milestone. Included are two versions, the first is a four-week unit guide that is designed for on-grade level students. The second is a six-week plan designed for students who are below-grade level or are unfamiliar with Shakespeare.

I find that 'Of Mice and Men' is a book best read quickly with students. This guide allows for time to include the much needed discussions and activities yet still keeps the reading time to a slim 3 weeks! Included are quoted stopping points to account for any page variation across editions as well as suggested activity or discussion topics with each chapter.
