This a pacing guide with suggested activity topics for Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. I find that while activties and resources for this play are abundant, it can be difficult as a new teacher to plan the length of the unit unless everything is neatly laid out by milestone. Included are two versions, the first is a four-week unit guide that is designed for on-grade level students. The second is a six-week plan designed for students who are below-grade level or are unfamiliar with Shakespeare.

This bellringer is designed to support a recent lesson on root words and suffixes. Students must match the root word to the appropriate suffix and then use the word in an original sentence. Document contains two bell ringers designed to be printed and cut in half.

I find that 'Of Mice and Men' is a book best read quickly with students. This guide allows for time to include the much needed discussions and activities yet still keeps the reading time to a slim 3 weeks! Included are quoted stopping points to account for any page variation across editions as well as suggested activity or discussion topics with each chapter.
