Experience

I taught special education in elementary school for 17 years. These past 6 years have been in a middle school teaching special education mathematics.

Teaching style

I am a very hands-on teacher; I prefer to get the kids up and moving while they learn. Vertical workspaces and student choice boards are a must!

Awards & shining teacher moments

I am currently going for my National Board Certification in Exceptional Needs. Fingers crossed!

My own education history

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Special Ed, a Master's Degree in Elementary Education/Special Ed, and a postbaccalaureate certificate in Autism.
