I have always had a passion for people - specifically those with disabilities. My journey started when I was in High School, where I took a class called 'Teacher Cadet'. This class began to show me what all it would take to become a teacher, and provided me with an opportunity to work in a classroom setting. I chose the Special Education classroom, where I absolutely fell in love with all things children, play, and language. I went to college at Northeastern State University, where I majored in Nutritional Science: Allied Health, with a minor in Psychology. Shortly after graduating, I took my first job as Registered Behavior Technician for ASD Children. A few years later I took a job opportunity as a Behavioral Interventionist for PreK-5th Grade. In 2022, I applied for my first teaching job as a Special Education Resource Teacher in Middle School. In December 2024, I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Special Education: Challenging Behaviors and Behavior Analysis. We moved to Florida in July 2024, where I took a job as a K-12 Special Education Teacher for EBD/ASD Students!
