Teaching style
My teaching philosophy is to help all of my students shine. I provide them with the opportunities to express their own ideas, build confidence and a love of learning. I teach using multi-sensory techniques to reach every child's learning style and help prepare them for a bright future.

My own education history
Teaching for The Gifted Child Society taught me how to ask questions that encourage critical thinking. I have also studied the Reggio Emilia approach to learning and worked at a Reggio Emilia Pre School. That experience has shown me that small children are capable of creating beautiful and thought-provoking creations, when given the opportunity. I strive to help my students build creative minds, knowing that they will take that creativity with them their entire lives. I have taught all ages, including young children, grade school students, colleges students and senior citizens. I have found that one of the most important elements of being a teacher is building a connection with each student, regardless of age. I am fortunate to work at a Pre-School now, where I can utilize my unique teaching philosophy.
Additional biographical information
I love spending time with my family and our dogs. Teaching has been a rewarding career for me and a great outlet for my creativity. I am excited to share my creativity and teaching tools with other educators and parents through TPT, my website and other venues.
